Chocolate Cake with Sesame Seeds

200 g wheat flour

200 g butter

180 g sugar

4 eggs

16 g starch

50 g dark cocoa powder

100 g sesame seeds COLFIORITO

100 g dark chocolate

1. First of all, melt the chocolate either in the microwave al low power, or using double-boiler, then leave cooling till it's warm;.

2. Ensure the butter is softened at room temeperature, then whip it with sugar, then begin adding 1 egg at a time, ensuring the result keeps smoothe and well blended;

3. Add the chocolate when it's no longer too hot and blend well. Add flour and starch, then cocoa and sesame seeds and stir well. For a stronger flavour, slightly bitter, and more crunchyness, use our roasted sesame seeds!

4. Pur the mix in a mold, previously covered in parchment paper. Pour a shower of sesame seeds on top of the cake and cook for 45 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (356 F);

5. To check if the cakes is ready, cautiously pierce with a wooden toothpick: if it comes out dry, then the cake is ready! Take it out of the oven and let it cool off, ready to be served at the right time!. Happy Valentine's Day!
