Thanks to its delicate flavor it is ideal for hot first courses, soups; also perfect for creative dishes such as sushi, meatballs, salads, vegetable fillings and much more. How to use millet in the kitchen? Wash it under running water and make an accurate visual check. Meanwhile, pour cold water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. As soon as the water boils, season with salt, pour in the millet and lower the heat; if necessary, add boiling water through the cooking. Let the millet cook for about 10 minutes, or longer depending on the desired consistency. Brown some vegetables for a few minutes with a tablespoon of oil in another pan. Once ready, add the millet vegetables and serve with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
